Zero Waste Awards 2022
We were delighted to be finalists in two categories at the Tāmaki Makaurau Zero Waste Awards 2022.
Our entry detailed our efforts to collect soft plastics from site, transport them down to saveBOARD with Green Gorilla, and make them into saveBOARD sheets that we can buy back for our hoardings.
We now have collections bags and signage on around 50% of our Auckland sites and saveBOARD have collected about 800kg of used plastics from our Auckland
yard. We’ve got saveBOARD hoarding going up around our projects all over New Zealand, replacing plywood.
We made it into the finals for both the Community Collaboration and Innovation Awards. Congratulations to all the other finalists and to the winners!
