UNLEASHED experience wins award!
We’re delighted to announce that the Wētā Workshop UNLEASHED experience has been awarded first place for Storytelling at the prestigious Blooloop Innovation Awards 2021.
The Wētā Workshop UNLEASHED experience re-creates Wētā Workshop’s Wellington effects workshop and film sets in Auckland’s SkyCity precinct. The 2,500m² fitout involved creating a new space in the former SkyCity Convention Centre, including installing partitions, altering existing services and applying high-spec level 5 finishes to the walls, allowing them to be used as projection surfaces.
In a project that was part film set and part theme park, our team enjoyed the collaborative, creative process of bringing Wētā’s amazing ideas to life.
