Trash 2 Treasure in Christchurch
We’re proud to have teamed up with the Climate Action Campus in Christchurch to make it easier for community groups to access unneeded materials coming off our sites – and keep them out of landfill.
Giving leftover materials a second life is a focus for us – especially when they can be used for a good cause – but the logistics of doing so safely from a busy construction site can pose some challenges.
The Trash 2 Treasure scheme means we’ve been able to easily deliver materials that can be picked up by the public for free once a week – like this reinforcing mesh. We’re looking forward to seeing the rest of the construction industry get involved.
