Latest Delivery to Trash 2 Treasure
We’ve made our biggest delivery yet to Trash 2 Treasure at the Climate Action Campus Ōtautahi!
It was quite a challenge getting the truck and trailer up the driveway! The load of 25 woolsacks of sound insulation and over a tonne of good-quality broadloom carpet was gone within days – the wool carpet had been repurposed at various garden projects around town, and the Tech Centre on site at the Climate Action Campus and many other folk were keen on the sound insulation.
Trash 2 Treasure has been set up to help Christchurch construction and demolition companies give leftover materials a second life in the community. It is open to the public every Thursday from 1pm – 3pm and everything is free.
