Tauhara Geothermal earthworks
There’s a lot of satisfaction to be had in a job well done!
Our Waikato/BoP team have completed the earthworks for the turbine and generator hall at Contact Energy’s Tauhara Geothermal Power Station. We’ve dug out 25,0000 cubic metres – that’s 10 Olympic-sized swimming pools – which will be re-used on the site for backfill and on other parts of the project.
