Student visit to CAB
We took a group of architecture students and their lecturer around our CAB Apartments site in Auckland for an educational tour.
The students were from two of Unitec’s Architectural Technology courses, and are being taught by Sameh Shamout. The courses he teaches help students to develop a sound understanding of large-scale and multi-storey construction, structure and associated services at undergraduate level, and explore the construction, structure and associated services requirements of unconventional, extreme, or innovative architectural projects at postgraduate level.
CAB is a multi-storey former council office block that we’re converting into luxury apartments, which provided the students with some excellent design learning opportunities.
