Student demo days
We partnered with Taggart and the Ministry of Education to give students from Burnside High School an up-close look at the demolition of blocks I & J.
Groups of up to 8 spent an hour on site learning about soft demolition and cut & crane operations, seeing what a classroom looks like when it has been stripped out, and having a go with the hard demolition machinery.
We’re working closely with the school to keep the noise down during the all-important exam period, with plenty of work scheduled to happen over the school holidays.
