School careers expo
Two of our quantity surveyors were invited the Careers Expo at Marlborough Girls’ College.
Equipped with goodie bags, Jen and Simone were on a mission to inspire the girls to explore a career in the construction industry. They reported that the students asked plenty of insightful questions, and were eager to know more about the quantity surveyor’s role on a construction project.
We’re currently developing a plan to relocate and rebuild Marlborough Boys’ and Girls’ Colleges and Bohally Intermediate in Blenheim in the Ministry of Education’s largest capital works project to date, so we’ll be looking for more opportunities to showcase construction as an enticing career.
