Retail yard extension completed for a valued repeat client.
We built the Mitre 10 MEGA Te Rapa store at The Base in Hamilton in 2007, and returned in 2020 to build a 1,900m² extension to their Drive Thru/Trade supply yard.
We took care of every aspect of the job for the client short of stacking the shelves, completing everything from the enabling works and demolition through to reconfiguring the pedestrian crossings and islands.
The design continued to evolve after we started on site, resulting in some unavoidable downtime and re-work in the already fast-track programme. The opening date was immovable despite the delay and we worked collaboratively with the project stakeholders and our subcontractors to ensure that the new yard was ready to trade right on time.
