High-quality office fitout for a security conscious public sector client.
We completed a high-quality fitout across two floors of John Wickliffe House in central Dunedin for the Ministry of Social Development, who were relocating to make way for construction of the new Dunedin Hospital.
The ground floor fitout included public areas such as the main entry, waiting area, main reception and seminar rooms, plus office and staff areas. We completed the refurbishment of the main entrance largely at night and over the weekends to limit disruption to the rest of the tenants in the building.
The fitout on level five encompassed the entire floor, creating space for open plan offices, meeting rooms and a staff café. Access to the fifth floor was via a working platform located on an adjacent street, with all building materials needing to be manoeuvred into position.
We also completed security upgrades across the two floors, strengthening the walls and doors and installing CCTV and security systems. Alongside these works, we carried out bathroom refurbishments and upgraded the fire doors and smoke lobbies in the stairwells on all levels of the 10-storey building.
