Completed in record time without compromising on quality.
Our Projects & Interiors team successfully executed the Dunedin isite fitout, the first of fourteen planned isite refurbishments across the country. This involved the creation of an inviting space that emphasises New Zealand’s cultural heritage and showcases local attractions. Importantly, we ensured the adjacent areas in the Civic Centre could operate with minimal disruption during the four-month project.
The visitor centre incorporates custom joinery crafted by a local manufacturer and harnesses a flexible modular approach. The installation of new ceiling tiles, floor coverings, lighting and air conditioning has transformed the area into a contemporary environment meeting all accessibility compliance requirements.
Our team kept in close contact with the client and stakeholders throughout, swiftly addressing any challenges that arose. The design evolved organically during the project, with our flexibility proving crucial to realising the client’s vision. Despite the tight programme and unforeseen hazardous materials, we completed the fitout in time for the first cruise of the season.
The project was priced to minimise surprises for the client and adhere to their budget. We achieved this without compromising on quality, ensuring an exceptional space for visitors to appreciate. The client expressed immense satisfaction with the final outcome, commending the professionalism and expertise we demonstrated throughout the construction process.
