Bank strengthened and transformed into a fashion retail destination.

We transformed the former Bank of New Zealand at 11/15 Rees Street into a fashion retail destination in a three-month fitout project in central Queenstown.

We started the project with the de-fit and strategic demolition of parts of the building, then completed seismic upgrades to achieve full compliance with earthquake regulations. This included strengthened foundations, in-situ concrete and block wall structures, plus a number of load-bearing steel elements.

Alongside the strengthening work, we built a new front façade and partitioned the building into two tenancies, refurbishing the roof, exterior cladding, doors, windows and bathrooms.

We completed the high-end retail fitouts for the new Calvin Klein and Tommy Hilfiger stores, including premium timber flooring, wall panelling, bespoke joinery, lighting, HVAC and security systems, racking and shelving, and a meticulous painting and decorating job.
