Bivouac Outdoor Five Mile fitout

Our Projects & Interiors team completed the fitout of a Bivouac Outdoor store on the ground floor of the new Sudima Queenstown Five Mile building.

We collaborated closely with Bivouac’s Operations Manager to achieve his vision for the store both aesthetically and practically. Armed with a basic floor plan and photographs of other Bivouac stores around the country, we transformed the empty shell into a vibrant and user-friendly space.

We built the storage and changing rooms from scratch and polished up the concrete floor slab to give a hardwearing, maintenance-free surface. Our carpenters even fashioned a mountainous landscape out of MDF to go in the shop window.

We painted tenancy in Bivouac’s colour scheme and sprayed the exposed overhead services matte black, giving them a sleek, modern look.

We completed the fitout in five weeks and within budget, ensuring that the store could open in time for the Christmas shopping period.
