Pasifika Careers Expo
The Pasifika Students’ Council at Victoria University of Wellington invited us along to their annual Pasifika Careers Expo.
It was an awesome opportunity to meet Pasifika secondary and tertiary tauira.
Samuelu Malaulau had the opportunity to share his journey as a Samoan in site management, while Elia Van Iddekinge and Mat Springgay were impressed by the enthusiasm and aspiration in Wellington’s young Pacific community. We also got some great feedback on our focus on employee development and site team mentorship.
It was a privilege to be able to chat to all these ambitious young people, who will go on to emerge as influential leaders within their aiga and communities – hopefully even as part of our Naylor Love team!
