Invoice scam warning
We’ve been informed that people impersonating Naylor Love staff have been approaching companies and asking them to change our bank account details to a fraudulent account.
This is the latest iteration of an invoice scam that has been plaguing the construction industry for several years, where scammers try to divert legitimate payments to their own accounts.
Please note:
- We are a New Zealand company – we do not solicit payments to overseas bank accounts
- We have been using the same bank account for more than a decade and have no plans to change it
- Naylor Love staff will always use a Naylor Love email address (@naylorlove.co.nz) to contact you – please check email sender details carefully. Even a single character skipped or swapped in the domain name could indicate a scam
You’re always welcome to contact us to check whether an email or invoice is genuine – call our Accounts team at 03 474 1153, call one of our offices, or use the contact forms on our website.
