GFC reverse logistics for RETEX
One of the challenges of diverting waste away from landfill and building a true circular economy is getting waste materials and excess building supplies back to where they can be recycled or reused.
We’re delighted to have found a reverse logistics supplier, GFC Fasteners, who offer a free collection service both for excess product and for RETEX.
We’ve been sending our end-of-life branded clothing to Textile Products to be made into RETEX, a textile mat that we use on our sites to protect surfaces and edges from knocks, dings and spills. GFC will pick up used RETEX and offcuts from our sites in Auckland, Hamilton, Tauranga and Christchurch and deliver it back to Textile Products in Auckland, helping us to ensure that our used RETEX can be made into more RETEX!
