Dunedin Railway Station
We’re all done with the restoration work at Dunedin Railway Station!
The incredible printed scrim from the façade has been carefully saved for future use, but we were keen to find a new home for the white plastic shrink wrap we used to protect the other workfaces.
In collaboration with Unitec, we’ve forged a promising new partnership with Recycle South, a Southland-based not-for-profit organisation, to trial a process to transform building wrap and other construction soft plastics into pellets, which can then be made into other products – including more building wrap. The fine folk at Brazier Scaffolding kindly transported our first 600kg load to Invercargill as a backload.
