Crofton Downs hard hat competition
With our Bupa Crofton Downs site a short walk from the local primary school, our site team have enjoyed getting to know the school community.
Last year we held a competition for Crofton Downs Primary School students to name the two tower cranes we had on site early in the project (Doug and Firebolt) and design flags for them. Our latest initiative was a ‘Design the Hard Hat’ competition for the kids in the community.
We put entry boxes and stacks of entry forms at the school, supermarket and café, and were delighted to receive loads of colourful, creative entries across all the age groups (5-11 years). We picked five winners, and presented them all with hard hats decorated with their very own design.
We’re tempted to get a few of these printed up for ourselves!
