Our main contractor Naylor Love and the many subcontractors did an outstanding job on the construction and finish – we can all learn lessons from the pride the various teams had in their work and their role in the project.

High-quality office fitout on the top floor of one of Dunedin’s tallest buildings.
We completed a high-quality office fitout for Deloitte’s Dunedin office, consolidating their team onto the 13th floor of Otago House.
The fitout works consisted of new open office area, partner offices, large staff café, reception and conference rooms – all built while the offices on the floor below remained fully occupied.
The design incorporated some quirky details and high-end finishes, including curved walls with acoustic strip material, brass poles and circular brass floor inlays, a living green wall, timber herringbone floors, secret doors, a large round Corian reception desk with brass mesh screening and Italian stone tiles. There were also a number of client-supplied fixtures which our site team coordinated, remedied and installed.
Access issues in the central city location were solved with early morning crane lifts from Moray Place, carried out between 2am and 6am before the city’s bus service started up each day. Materials that wouldn’t fit in the lift needed to be loaded onto the roof and manoeuvred through a skylight.
We completed the project on time, on budget and to an excellent standard, with the client delighted with both their new offices and the smooth running build process.
