Alta Townhouses, a medium density new build residential development, comprises 16 two- and three-storey, two- and three- bedroom semi-detached townhouses with private courtyard gardens. Located at the bottom end of the Remarkables Park retail centre, with the spectacular backdrop of the Remarkables mountain range, these properties were all sold off plan well before construction started.
The low maintenance cedar and alpine tray clad exteriors are designed to blend into the local environment, while the beautifully finished high-spec interiors feature open, high pitched tongue and groove plywood ceilings to create a sense of space.
With construction booming, one of the main challenges for any project in Queenstown is to find enough skilled labour. Our own team of specialist craftsmen and our long-term relationships with Queenstown’s best subcontractors allowed the project to run smoothly, with everyone working together to achieve high-quality finishes.
An early challenge to the tight nine-month programme was ground conditions being significantly softer than originally tested, requiring additional excavation and fill, but our team pulled out all the stops and successfully met their handover deadline.
