Natureland volunteer day
We descended on Nelson’s Natureland Wildlife Trust to revamp their children’s play area as part of our company volunteer day programme.
Under the watchful gaze of the neighbouring meerkats, the team pitched in to remove an old steel elephant and the foundations it stood on, move the sandpit, dig holes, mix concrete, install posts and walls, and wheelbarrow loads and loads of bark.
Many thanks to Carters Nelson and Konnect Fastening Systems for donating materials, and to Berkett Contracting for the use of a digger and driver for the day.
We capped off a productive day with an amazing opportunity to get up close to the keas.
