JA Valentine Scholarship
Congratulations to the latest JA Valentine Scholarship recipients!
When Jim Valentine stepped down as Naylor Love chairman in June 1995 after 16 years at the helm, the company marked his retirement by establishing the JA Valentine Scholarship. Awarded annually to the top student in the pre-apprenticeship course at Otago Polytechnic, it offers a cash prize and a job offer at Naylor Love.
The 2021 recipients are Morgane Torr and Ngaru Smiler. We’re delighted that Ngaru will be joining us as an Apprentice Carpenter in the new year.
