Lake Hayes Planting Day
Our Central Otago team regularly volunteer with the Whakatipu Reforestation Trust, planting trees and maintaining plantings in the Whakatipu Basin.
At the latest session, we planted natives around Te Wai Whakaata Lake Hayes wetland with other local companies, helping to restore water quality and biodiversity.
The event was a collaboration between the Whakatipu Reforestation Trust and Mana Tāhuna, a kaupapa Māori organisation committed to positive social, cultural and environmental development.
The team had an awesome day, made a little sweeter with muffins and scones!
