Project garden at 3 Te Kehu Way
One of the ways we celebrate a completed project is to plant a tree at the site. We went a step further at 3 Te Kehu Way.
During the build, our site offices had been stacked in a rather neglected garden space. This needed to be put back as we found it on completion, but doing the bare minimum didn’t sit right with our team. They decided to re-plant the entire area, with our project tree in the centre.
The garden looks great and blends in well with the rest of the landscaping. It was a suitably green way to leave a legacy at a very sustainable project, with the building targeting the highest 6 Green Star rating and a 5-star NABERSNZ rating, and our team achieving an impressive 92% diversion of construction waste from landfill by sorting a wide range of waste on site.
