2023 Beacons Awards

The Construction Sector Accord Beacons Awards celebrate best practice and innovation in construction. Organisations who have completed a Beacon case study in the previous year, sharing good practice and lessons learned across the sector, are entered into the Supreme Award.

Our Beacon case study details the waste reduction pilot at our AUT A1 project, where we diverted over 90% of waste away from landfill and also made considerable savings on landfill costs – it’s available to read in full on the Construction Sector Accord website.

Judges’ comments:

Alongside the contribution Naylor Love are making to waste reduction – the initiative was driven by a leader within the organisation and then measured by their own QS. The approach to circularity, the partnerships that Annie created with local government and a multitude of suppliers, the creation of a microcredential to support new skill development (and that this has reached beyond this site) are all significant achievements.

This is a great project and a great example of leadership for transformation, a strong Beacons case study.
