2018 NZIOB Building Industry Awards
Naylor Love came away from the with two excellence awards from the NZIOB New Zealand Building Industry Awards.
- Brendon Keenan and Gary Davidson won the Resene Projects $5-$8 million Excellence Award for the Christ’s College Kitchen Tower Restoration. The judges complimented their emphasis on safety, and stated “Gary and Brendon came across to the judges as being a well-balanced team, working hand in glove and exhibiting a clear passion for the project they were tasked with delivering.”
- Cameron Orr won the Hilti Projects $8-$20 million Excellence Award for Te Pā Tauira Otago Polytechnic Student Village. The judges commented that Cameron embraced the steep learning curve involved with building the first multi storey accommodation block in New Zealand made from CLT panels; “The judges could see that the project was delivered in an orderly and well controlled manner – it appeared easy.”
